Question about remote start

The app is super-convenient on a hot day when there is a good distance to the car. ( I always park in the hinterlands). I find it works best when I'm at a restaurant and am paying the bill. Set it to start, I have the seats set to ventilate (cool).
By the time the server comes back with the bill, the car is cooling. If the server is slow, and the ten-minutes is up, I just restart. If the server is super-slow, then the car is cool regardless.

Just as an aside, the car will remote start with all the HVAC settings just as when you shut down.
So, when parking and anticipating needing a remote start, set your fan and temp control to your desired results.
Make sure your seat (ventilated/cool or heated) options are only one. If you choose both, neither will work on a remote start.
