I have a 2019 grand sport. I love the remote start. However, sometimes it fails to start. Kind of embarrassing when I’m showing someone this cool feature. Not sure why it sometimes fails to start. Curious why this is and if I’m doing something wrong. Most of the time it starts no problem. But sometimes it’s a dud. I’m doing the same procedure every time.
I do press the lock button then the circle icon next. Like I said, most of the time it remote starts fine but sometimes it tries to start then stops. Then if u try again nothing. Seems quirky but it’s cool when it is successful.
You can only remote start the car twice in a row....then you need to start the car with you and the fob in the car using the start button on the dash. This true ignition cycle will reset the remote start to allow remote starting again.

There's also Google Assistant. As long as you have the Chevrolet app, it'll work. So, now I say: "Hey Google, ask Chevrolet to start my car". Chevrolet kicks off, asks for PIN (either say it, or type it in) and start it will. The only update I'd make to this is to include the PIN within the app(s) somewhere so I don't have to provide the pin.
