Default Soler Engineering's Throttle Body

The information I have read on Soler engineering's new throttle body has been very positive. And most of it seems to come from folks with the standard transmission. Could anyone provide me with information on how it improves performance when used with a base Stingray with the A8 trans?

Mine felt sluggish when taking off from a stop, like I had to press the accelerator pedal too far to get it moving. Now the throttle is much more responsive.

Gulps in air, much better "tip in" , much better response across the board for a 15 minute job. I have the throttle controller as swell and they work amazing together !!

I installed the Soler on my 15 A8 based on the MANY raves here and to tell the truth I did not notice any significant difference. Maybe it is just me and I'm just blah or oblivious? No throttle controller.

I used to have a Vitesse TC. and that had a HUGE impact. I had to remove it as after a couple of years of good use as the car developed a "clunk" when I took my foot off the accelerator going over 50 and it took me months to figure out where it was coming from. The Vitesse caused the clunk and I disconnected it and the clunk never reappeared.

I recently installed both the TB and TC in my 19 GS A8 and I couldn’t be happier. No more sluggish throttle and the response is definitely sharper. Would recommend doing it 1000 times over

I would expect the observable difference on an A8 would be less than on the M7 due to the requirement to coordinate throttle and clutch on the M7 using one of the least distinct, mushiest low throttle zones I have ever experienced.
If predictable, immediate throttle response is important, the TB is a godsend. As posted the TB reduces the mush zone to near zero, and would be noticeable but likely not as significant on the A8...

Highplains, the car will feel nimbler and more fun to drive at part throttle. The response shows right off idle, it is smoother, more linear and predictable in passing maneuvers, out of a corner, cruising or right of a stop. You'll be able to dial a throttle position for every condition that is not too little or too much. The extra air/power starts right of idle and all the way to WOT, it is much more significant at low to part throttle where it can be easily sensed without instruments.

...and I just remember why your member ID sounded so familiar. You helped a lot of folks with the warble issue (Thank you!), including me w/ my 15' Stingray A8. BTW, we developed the LT1 TB for based on the shortcomings we noticed on this A8.
