I haven't done it as yet. I did on my old '55 Chevy and my '67 Chevelle. Much harder on those cars as you have to fill the freakin' holes !!

Way back in the day I removed the emblems from my ‘71 Challenger and had the same problem of filling the holes on the hood scoops left behind from the “340” emblem removal.
Like so many others, I removed the stingrays and the CORVETTE off the back first week of ownership.
Much cleaner look
I don't believe I've ever seen a C7 with emblems removed from the considerable amount of C7s I see in my travels, only on this forum. So I'd bet the % is fairly low.
Again, just like A8 issues and bent/cracked wheels, many come here to inform of such however I don't believe I've ever seen where anyone has started a thread just to tell us they haven't removed their emblems.

I can't recall ever seeing a C7 with any emblem(s) or lettering removed while seeing close to 150 to 200 C7 Vettes in any given Car Show season...so I dont think its "common" practice at all...but to each his own. I too like it exactly the way it rolled out of Bowling Green...all my emblems and lettering are intact and will remain as such.

I took mine off too. Love the smoother look. I also replaced the chrome emblems with CF emblems. Note: I recently replaced the aftermarket CF emblems with OEM GM CF emblems. The Chevrolet bowtie on the aftermarket CF ones were too yellow instead of golden.

how was the removal process? Looks cleaner but also feels a little empty....I’m torn as well
This is how I see it. Some cars look ok with them removed. IM ok with the white car, but blues greens reds and Yellow look like they were just repainted and the badges were still waiting to be put back on. My eye sees an incomplete body. or a repaint, Of course its my eye and my opinion. but those who do so do it because they like it, which is ok with me.
Along these same lines, I do not like to look of the raised area of the hood , viewing from the cabin. IM talking about the area under the center.. In my opinion it should be blacked out like , what I did with my C5... I will probably change that in the spring. I like the blacked out look under the hood as oppose to the red oem look
