I have a '16 Z51 2lt M7, at the time, [earlier this summer (before the C8 launch)], was quoted 30k trade from selling deal toward '19 1lt GS. My car had around 35k miles at the time.

Low mileage 2017's look to be listing for 37-42 (probably selling for 35-40)... So a high mileage would be at least 5k lower.. so that 28k offer doesn't seem too bad for the dealer to leave profit room.

It's not helping that you can get a low mileage 2019 for basically the same price.. I am seeing them listed for 38-47 all over..

These cars are a dime a dozen now.. Same thing will happen with the C8.

This couldn't have been recently.. Otherwise you basically stole money from the dealer and good for you.

You should be able to squeeze out another k or 2.

What are you trading it in towards? New or used car? In my past experiences I've always been shown much more on my trade when its towards a new car.

Yup, I'm thinking the same thing. A southern C7 should be bringing more money on a trade, even with the 47K mileage.

I looked up what Carvana would give me for my '17 Z51 2LT A8 with 9000 miles and they quoted just a little over 40k. I did the same over early summer and I think the quote was like 45k. And honestly I don't think I can get much more than 40k selling it private party, maybe 2kish more. Mine still has 1 year left in the warranty too but I just don't see being able to get more out of these cars due to how cheap you can get a new one for.

Most of the 2016+ 2LT Z51 cars with manual I'm seeing are around 45k and to me that just seems too high with the C8 coming out and cars being 3-4 years old. Wonder how much dealers paid for most of those..

The C8 can’t be bought with a manual transmission and won’t likely be available for purchase on a dealership lot for quite some time (since they have enough preorders to account for all C8s being built for quite a while). Even when they start becoming available on dealer lots, there won’t likely be any available anywhere near the $60k base price for a while. In other words, the upcoming C8 has very little if any impact on the pricing of used C7s, especially those with manual transmissions. The 16+ Z51 2LT M7 is the sweet spot for buyers who want a manual transmission without getting into the bendy wheeled Grand Sport. Keep in mind that the Z51 2LT was a $70k+ car when new (the window sticker for mine with mag ride, PDR and several other options had an MSRP of almost $74k, even if nobody paid MSRP) so around $45k for a 16+ that is basically like new with very low mileage is still a good deal. If you want to pinch pennies, look for a 1LT with no extras.

Feels like prices haven't dropped from 6 months ago. I still think enough will flood the market when C8 starts being delivered and that will effectively drive prices down. We will find out in a few months I guess.

Bought the car on Black Friday. And I double checked the paperwork; they actually only gave me 36K (I talked to a lot of dealers). Car is on the dealer website right now for $43k on "Sale" from their "Market Price" of $46k.

And this was in Tennessee, where I have another home.

no my car is in perfect condition. My passenger side is still like new since only I ride in it. I even got new all season tires on it. Plus I have bought 2 vettes from the dealer I trade to trade it in at.

I looked at two corvettes they had on the lot with 40k miles. They were Z06 LT2 they wanted $65 for both. And neither was as clean as mines. Even the sales person said that.

So what are the details of your Vette? Manual? Auto? Don't think it would hurt to list it on here.

I think that really emphasizes how regional the pricing is. I traded for a 2017 3LZ Z06/Z07 with under 10K miles and an original sticker of $109K (AFAIK), and it was on the lot for under $64K

Car worth 35-37 all things equal in above average but not mint condition. Deduct for worn tires or other obvious deficiencies. Would sell for 37-39 at auction brought up to front line ready.
