Default Dumb trim question

decided on a stage 2 splitter but the gap on stingrays looks dumb.

question; can that plastic trim piece that goes around the front fender edges on the GS/Z be added to stingray?

Always love the dumb questions..
A Picture of the dumb gap you are talking about would be of help.
You mention the GS fender trim.. Im trying to understand the relationship here.
I have the stage two splitter and dont see a dumb gap or even a normal gap.
More than willing to help but am scratching my head. since the mount for the Stingray and the GS is the same, as far as the splitter goes.

Z51 stingray with stage II Carbon flash splitter

BTW... I was teasing about asking a dumb question .. its a pet peeve of mine.. Since the only dumb question is the one you wont ask.

the gap i mentioned is the gap between the stage 2 (as mentioned above....) winglet and the bumper. this gap is 'filled in' on gs/Z cars by the fender extension, that plastic ring-like piece that goes around most of the perimeter of the fender.

the gap itself is located directly straight down below the bottom of the orange reflector/lights, but nothing like this is on your car as your splitter has no winglets on it, therefore no gap. ill dig around for a pic...

That gap is because the Stage 2 has the squared sides where the small winglets and stage 3 large winglets attach. If you go with the Stage 1 that we make it is the same as the factory Z06 one which is rounder and conforms better to the bumper.

OK.... gotcha now.... You never mentioned " winglet " and not everyone puts the small winglet on. The pictures I provided does not show the small winglets I decided not to put on....But I know what you are referring to as " gap...now... I have seen several members with a Stingray fit the GS full wheel well splash guards to their Stingray. I opted to put on the stage three winglets last week

Added Stage III Carbon Flash winglets

Stage III Carbon Flash winglets.

Yes the wheel spats will work.

That is good to know should I eventually decide to install a set on my Stingray.
