While it's true that you can't judge an issue completely from forum posts, the issues the OP is asking about, specifically the driveline issues in the C7, were and are a real issue, as evidenced by the repeated 'fix' attempts by GM.
Also, look at the mileage of the cars many of the people who are reporting they are having no issues, 4k, 13k, 3k, 1k, etc., so it's also fair to realize a thread about people not having problems does not at all discount the idea that there is a problem.
The fact these driveline issues are reported so frequently on cars that are driven so infrequently certainly points to an issue, and the fact that tadge has addressed the issue many times and even reported that they had to go with a steel driveshaft rather than aluminum due to all the vibrations caused by AFM further supports the fact there was and is an issue.
And to those thinking/hoping that the new fluid is the 'fix', realize that increased lubrication really only slows friction issues, which takes us back to the fact that these cars are not driven very often so it's going to take longer for these issues to pop up anyway. It would be interesting to see what the failure rate on these drivelines is at 30-50k, though I doubt we will ever see the real numbers anyway.
From everything I've seen, I'm convinced that AFM has created a real issue with the C7 drivelines and has severely reduced it's longevity.
Bought ours new in July 2019. 12,000 miles so far. Windshield replaced 2x...dealer expense. In next week for paint chipping between panels (too tight)..dealer expense. Other than that, its a blast.

Why did the windshield need to be replaced twice?
Thanks
Your informal "survey" will mean little. I have an M7 '18 (same difference). No problems here. The reality is that one cannot validly judge problem frequency for anything by online product forums, all of which are greatly skewed to those with issues. How many times have you been online to let people know that some product you have used for ages still has no issues?
the few posts listed above yours for starters…lol.
Rule number 1 of vehicle specific forums. Don't frequent them if reading about issues makes you worried, sleepless or otherwise less completely happy about owning the vehicle. I frequent forums of every gas powered toy in my toy box. I would have sold them all, or never purchased them in the first place, if I let internet reported issues bother me. You have a 19' with a full warranty. Congratulations on your purchase and I assume you took advantage of the really good deals on new C7's this month.
I can attest to this…..a year ago, I test drove a 2018 c7 a8, not planning on getting one. Just wanted to see what it was like….the next day, the dealership called me and decided they wanted my Jeep, and offered an even trade….they wanted 43 for the vette, and offers 38 for the Jeep, the previous day, but now they wanted even trade, of course I said yes. After getting it home, and joining the forum. Reading about torque tubes, AFM, triple flushed transmission service, etc I got nervous….a month later I traded it for another car….i just bought a 2014 c7 a6, with a lot of miles…..I love it…..I figured out after almost a year of being in here, that not every vette had these issues, most of them do not….im in the process of changing all the fluids, I’ve used a Diablo tuner to turn off AFM/DOD
so far so good!
OP - Congratulations on your new Stingray. The 19 Vettes were/are very dependable overall. My 19 GS, bought new in October 2019, has 58K miles on her and only issue was a leaking belt tensioner at 38K miles. Now, I will not mention the cracked GS wheels () which you will not face with a Stingray. Suggest you replace ALL fluids (oil, brake, coolant, rear) in your 19 due to mileage/time unless you can confirm it was previously done. Give us a picture when you can. I love my 19 GS and I hope you do as well with your 19. Good luck.
I have a 19 Z51 with 38K never seen a GM shop. Done all the regular maintenance, Mobil oil changes and regular upkeep, runs like a top. New power Stop dustless brakes. It's not a Harley leave it alone.
