I will be buying very shortly , check out the markeplace in florida ,there is alot of them in the thirty range and some of them have less then 20 thousand miles ,gonna be down there the end of February ,and hopefully driving one back !!
I predict the sun will rise tomorrow and the c7 prices will be > $1.
Now, can we all get back to arguing about taillights, catch cans and cracking wheels? Getting bored with these daily "what will c7 prices do?" threads.
Also Corvette sales are seasonal. In another two months prices will start rising as people who want one this coming driving season will be out looking for them. Best time to sell a Corvette is in the spring best time to purchase one is late fall or winter.

I can attest to this. In mid-December, when I bought my pre-owned 2019 Convertible (1665 miles) from up in NY State, the small dealer (mom and pop) I purchased it from said they had taken it to auction 2 weeks before I bought it and nobody wanted it. I can understand why......there was 10 inches of snow on the ground.
I understand some of the frustration with another value of the C7 thread, but it's understandable this year. There have been many predictions of doom and gloom coming out of the C8 forum. Some predicting there will be a flood of used C7s on the market as they are traded in when the C8s are delivered.
Folks who just bought a C7 are a little concerned that they overpaid and there are those who want a C7, but find the current prices a little too high. They're anxious to see what happens. So that's some of what's driving these threads.
Pre-internet that was the case. Now, not so much. Same for regional pricing for the most part.
I think that is the case for those of us who frequent car forums. Most people, enthusiast included still buy cars the old fashion way at their local dealer.
These threads are always started by people who are hoping to hear “just wait a few more months and you can buy a mint C7 for $25k!” and years later they are still sitting there without a C7 hoping for a miracle.
as inflation increases at the same rate making a dollar today worth less each year and how good the newer cars are (especially later years) don't 3cpect to find a "mint" C7 for 25k.... ever... they will stay close to C6Z pricing only slightly behind and "mint" C6Zs are still high 30s. If time stood still? Then I would agree. It doesn't so the dollar will continue to lose and the car will stay strong (when you use "mint" as the description of condition).. high mileage? Accident? 5 7 10 owners? Yeah. But not "mint".
Hi
Last year being without a vette for a while l was thinking about getting another one. My last vette l traded it in for a Mercedes vert so l would have room
for my 2 grandchildren. Now l am thinking 3rd car and being out of it for awhile l had to check with the forum. Things change and if not no big deal.
I think Corvette owners will be our own worst enemy when it comes to resale. The current C7 owners who are planning to sell their cars for the C8 will hopefully practice patience when selling or trading in their cars.
just need a handle on where the market is, probably buying a second house soon and my bride holds the $ in my house lol Right now l am thinking
2014/2015 coup z51, low mileage as new and l will pay the price if reasonable.
I am in south Florida now, a boat load of vettes scattered all over the place, prices all over the place. Being on the ocean the salt in the air is ridiculous even though l didn’t notice any rust l feel l must be missing it.
