Hey guys! Found this gem at a local dealership. I’m wondering if this looks like a stock visual configuration? I have no reason to think otherwise. Its a 3LT 2014 A6. The A6 puts me off but DAMN LOOK AT THIS THING!
Can more of these be found ? Yellow calipers stock too or that was done after the fact??

Also, A8 or M7? HELLLLLLP ME DECIDE!! Thanks!
Um, the A6 isn't the transmission that has been going back to the dealer for repairs. If you do a search, you'll see the A8 in the 15 - 17 were the problems. The calipers were an option.
Thats really sharp, but two things would kill it for me - the color and the automatic.
I was thoroughly cured from ever having a black vehicle again after owning a beautiful black Avalanche. No flames, please, just personal preference. It looked dirty 5 minutes after detailing. I just could not stand it.
And I like my M7.
To answer your question, this appears stock. At least, you could build one like this in 2019.
Its a Photo! its shiny ! and under enhanced lighting... Its a 2014 Black C7 A7... not much else to see,.... AS Far as Black cars go... I'M retired and have the time.. My wife has never had a black car but secretly always wanted one... I bought her a 2019 Black car.. its now 14 months old with 5,000 miles on it and looks better than when we took if off the showroom floor... the Turbo and DCT transmission and 8 speed select shifter... are also all fun factors. I would not hesitate to buy another black car..
Bill
OP, I would not compromise on a car that was not exactly what I wanted because it was shiny. ( Presented well under the right lighting and good caliper colors ).
Just my opinion ( that what we do here.. offer our opinion, … beside bashing each other for having those opinions.. LOL

I've been in that store several times over the years, lots of nice cars! That Stingray also has the dual-mode exhaust and competition seats, looks to be really clean. Original owner certainly took care of the interior. 3LT, caliper and wheel options as well. Seems like a good price?
Driving an A6 C7 feels too much like last gens auto (because it was).
The A8 is an amazing automatic transmission if you like them. Everyone brags about the ZF 8speeds. Both have plenty in the 9s and some in the 8s bone stock. I've owned and driven both.. hard and on track.
M7 (which I've also driven as well as many M6, 5 etc) are fine. Just becomes monotonous in traffic..
I also agree with the comments regarding a manual vs automatic. I also learned the expensive way ......had a 2019 Stingray A8 1LT and traded it in the end of November for a 2019 GS M7 2LT. Think about what you really want before you make the leap. Don’t do what I did.

Nothing wrong with an A6 transmission (I have one in mine) but if you are not sold on an automatic, keep searching until you find an M7 car. Even if you have to travel a distance to get one, it will be better than making a purchase and then regretting it. Car looks stock to me, but as others have said, proper lighting does wonders for a car.
I am thinking about putting my 2014 Z51 3LT 7M convertible with only 9948 miles up for sale. My ONLY reason for even thinking about this is because my 75 year old knees just don't enjoy the 7M/clutch as much as they use to. I think I would rather find a A8 in a later Grand Sport be much easier on my knees! If interested get in touch!
2014 Z51 3LT A6 but I bought all GM panels had a body shop to paint front & rear panels with the back upper bumper piece, also the door panels for the z06 for 1800.00 did all the work myself. Put a all new forged motor in it with a A/A TI blower set up with a BTR stage II cam & a 2800 circle D stall. Love the car drives like it was stock. But it does have 11,k on the car itself with about 500 miles on the new motor set up, But warm weather will be here soon.
I still have not been able to see a C8 eye to eye may just sale this & get a c8 z06 when they come out if I like what I see in the c8.. Robert
