I have a 2015 Stingray Z51. It has a Hennessey HPE 700 package with a Edelbrock super charger. TSP headers and catless X- pipe. Almost every time I put my car into D there is a delay then it goes into gear but hard. Sometimes very hard sometimes easy. I have been told by tuners that it cannot be fixed by being tuned. Here is a short video of what I am trying to convey. Thx in advance. Can't get the video to download. I will get it soon. Hope this works
Bought my wife a 2015 Z51 3LT A8 in the fall of 2014 that had this issue. 10 months later after many trips to the dealer and no fixes traded for a 2016 and no more problems. Wife was afraid of the car and was scared to drive it. Can't say I blame her as it was very disturbing and unpredictable.

If you are referring to a lurch forward after a cold start when first put into drive if your not on the brakes...then the answer is yes on occasion with my 2015 A-8 Z-51...I have been ready to take it to my dealer twice now and the morning of my appointment it goes away after days and days of the symptom reoccurring! It is somewhat aggravating! I have brought this up in other threads here with a few educated guesses on what it may be. I know I am wasting time taking to the dealer if the symptom has gone away...that is for sure! Lets take a look at your video when you can get it to post here...best of luck man!
Research TSB 18-NA-355. Transmission shudder & harsh engagement seem to be a symptom of transmission fluid. Some transmissions can be fixed by a simple fluid change.

I had the shudder v4 and v8 mode thing...and my dealer did the latest triple flush...It fixed the shudder...but now on occasion I have the "lurch" thing going on after a cold start (with proper warm up before putting it in drive) it lasts a week or so then it goes away on its own...wanting to OP's video to see if he has the same thing...Somewhere along the line on the forum it was reported to be some sort of seal that was supposedly leaking...but mine comes and then it goes...one would think that a seal that leaks would continue to leak and not just "fix itself"...frustrating, but way worth the ownership of the car!

Yes , If its the same as what is happening to me...its very frustrating and I never know when it will flare up again...I myself am prepared each time I start the car...as for my wife, it makes her not want to drive it...if it were her car to drive daily we would have traded or gotten to the bottom of this somehow...but it's my weekend warrior... so at this point we don't have to worry about fighting over who's going to get to drive it! LOL>>>>Just kidding....
I pulled up the bulletin but it only pertains to a shudder from 25 to 80 mph. The problem I have is put the car into drive and there is a 3 second delay then bam it slams into gear even with my foot firmly on the brake.

I can't say that that is the same feeling I get 1 fast vert...I have my foot on the brake petal regardless when I shift the car like all should....I find that mine slips into gear without a jerk or delay, unlike yours...when I let of the brake pedal mine "lurches forward" and you have to be ready with proper steering direction set in place and feather the brake pedal...then all is fine after this for the rest of the day...and it only happens at random and lasts for a week or so then goes away on its own for months. We seem to have problems with the same style and year of car, but now its sounds like we may have different issues...My Z-51 A-8 is fairly stock with no tunes...just an AWE X Pipe, Vararam CAI...and a lot of cosmetic mods...best of luck....successful video would be very helpful...

That is the same symptom we were having. Often times able to back down the driveway into the street, put the car in drive.... 3,2,1,BANG, JUMP! Having both feet firmly planted on the brake the car would still jump forward.
Best I recall the 1st 900 or so A8 transmissions had this feature. I believe the torque converter was draining down after sitting a while. Once started again it took some time to build up pressure, reprime, refill etc. Do not know what the final fix was as we got tired of being BETA tested for every new software/whatever fix there was to no avail.
