Winter weather is a definite downer. But it sure feels good when Spring arrives, you disconnect the battery tender and fire your Vette up. Just like getting a new car all over again.
This is my thoughts on Winter in New England
Not skating, skiing or snowmobiling and definitely not driving the CORVETTE .
The SUN is merely a decoration and rarely is out.Couple more years of this crap.
Can't come sooner...
Do WHATEVER you can according to conditions, even if all that entails is going out and sitting in your XXXXXX (whatever) Vette owners aren't the only ones who deal with this, ha.
If you can, detail something. Or, if feasible, start it and let it get up to temp... enjoy the sounds and try not to asphyxiate anyone. Apply, silicone-lube on the weatherstrips, trying not to get too much all over those good gloves some loved-one gave you for Christmas. Dust the engine covers. Wipe down the mufflers. Getting the picture? And, don't forget the battery-tender of your choice to play with... watch the lights flash as you plug and unplug it!
Now, get out there--wherever that might be--and get with it! ENJOY!!!
I havent been able to drive mine for the last week. I am so stressed having to drive a corolla, Not because of weather because the Vette is the body shop after being hit. Hopefully have it back Friday
I never had a problem with my new C3 when driving in snow, ice, etc. Somewhere along the past 40 years it became a no no driving in Winter weather for many American Corvette owners in the Upper latitudes. Life is short. Drive your C7s 365! I do!

Seems like it has been snowing here about every three days lately and when it is not doing that, it is raining. Plus there is still a lot of salt on the streets from the snow. We need a really good rain to clear off the streets and then some dry time. Getting antsy to move the car out of the garage and go for a drive.
Have to go with what his insurance gave me. Camaro or Mustang about $150 or so a day corolla about $30. But when I filed the claim with their insurance I did ask for a GT350 the laughter was deafening

You could upgrade the difference. It's not that much 💲.
Its a choice to live in Michigan, so I have to take the good with the no driving...but do miss driving the fun cars.
East Lansing here. I also feel the pain, keep looking for an appropriate house with a three car garage so I don't end up having to scrape my daily driver.
Oh, by the way my daily driver is an AWD Charger.
