Made this inquiry in maybe June 2019.
My guess is sometime in late 2017 early 2018 the correction was complete and cars were mfr with new style.

My 2014 3LT Z51 with red leather has pulled away just like you said. Also, when its warm and humid from a rainy day outside, the leather bubbles on the center console arm rest, and the black leather gets a bubble near the HUD. Then, when things get sunny and hot, it all shrinks and the bubbles go away. It seems humidity might be part of the problem. All this seemed to start after I began driving it to work and parking it in the sun near the university. It doesn't seem to have gotten any worse, I will be keeping an eye on it this year to see what happens.

see post #21. Fake news. Having direct contact with a person on the Corvette team responsible for handling these disasters has its benefits. Not a bunch of anonymous doomsday forecasters.
