lots of posts on this subject, I'd suggest a search. I've got the 3LT package and so far mine is holding up.

You should fill out your profile so we know the year of your car.

For some reason I thought I had that filled out. Sorry about that. I've got a 2017 Z51 with the 3LT package

The 2LT dash isn't leather like the 3LT. I haven't heard of any problems with the 1LT/2LT dashes, so your dash should have plenty of happy years ahead.

My MY16 3LT dash was replaced under warranty after a year. The new one is holding up well. I believe there was a bad batch from the supplier as most haven't had the problem.

So you're just curious if others with the 3LT, unlike yours, are having issues?

My 17 3lz Vert is currently intact but I just purchased a windshield screen to keep any direct sun while we're out and to keep the temps down. Can't hurt.

My 3LT dash separated at the defroster vents 2 weeks after the 3yr/36K mile warranty expired. Dealer contacted GM for me and I was offered I pay 1/3rd ($950ish) and GM would pay the remaining 2/3rds. I took them up on it. Car is garaged kept and use a sunshade when parked outside. Hopefully the replacement is better quality.

Same here with my 2014 3LT. I am wondering if those who park their vette out in the hot sun all day while at work, are more prone to the bubbling?

My 2015 3LT dash is lifting. I bought it used in Dec 2017. It was a Florida car with 50k. I dont have any info on it from Florida. I have put 32k miles on it, its parked outside and I use a sunshade

Is this true? I know the 3LT uses NAPA leather but I thought the 2LT was leather as well - just not NAPA.

My buddy has a 2LT Grand Sport and his dash sure looks like vinyl to me.

I have a 2017 Grand Sport 3LT. The dash started to have the leather come loose around the defroster vents. The car was 24 months old with 17000 miles. Was repaired under warranty. Very happy with the job that the dealer did. Also had the center console cover replaced at the same time. Having the windshield tinted with a clear 90% legal tint in hopes the problem won't return.

No issues with my 2LT dash. I honestly prefer the 2LT interior. I like the textured look of the leather better...
