Going to install a front curb view camera on my 2015 using a micro add a fuse. Any advice which fuse is best to double up on so camera power is shut off with ignition? Or any that you could use the on/ off switch for that accessory to power the camera on/off? Sorry if this has been asked before.... I’m new to forum. Thanks for any help!
Used the Fuse Tap to the Ignition Even Fuse. This insures that the camera is only on when the car is running. Cut a small slit in the fuse using a Dremel to prevent the wire from getting pinched.
Bob, does the car have to be running to give power or just in the “on” position? Also is this fuse #27? Thanks!
I have had the cam in there for 3 years and I don't think I ever realized if it does or doesn't need to be running. Also I'll don't remember the fuse number, but I'll check later today and get back to you.
UPDATE: I just checked and the car must be running for the cam to work.
Several of us on the forum worked out a simple inexpensive method for installing a front cam on early C7s and 1LT C7s.The thread ran on for a long time.
There complete instructions and a what products to order.Below is the thread. https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...nt-camera.html
