Default Battery volts

What is the normal battery volts for C7 Z51 with M7? Mine goes from 12.5 to as high as 15. Usually 13.0 to 14.0
why the big difference?

After starting the voltage should stabilize between 13 and 14.5 volts... consistent readings above 15 likely indicate a problem, often a battery going south.

Normal , the ECM controls the Alternator now and only supplies what the car and battery need ....

I agree it's normal. I bet in cold weather it goes above 15v. Mine does.
