Default Ceramic White?

I'm looking to buy a C7Z and wanted one in white. A few different internet postings have an exterior color labelled as Ceramic White. I'm sure this is a mistake and should be Ceramic Gray because I don't recall Ceramic white being an option. However, I see many different postings from different dealers with this listed. Is this a mistake on their end or is there actually a Ceramic White?

ON the C7,8 there's Ceramic Matrix or something like that. It's a unique color kinda white with a hint blue/gray. But far as the C6 Arctic White is the only white offered.

Max beat me to it. LOL

I was quite serious about Ceramic Matrix Gray until I saw it on an overcast day. It took on the look of a primer painted car. Another color that didn't appeal in overcast was Long Beach Red, it looked to me like a dull red brick. Not what I had imagined. Both of them looked great on sunny days. I have Arctic White if that says anything. YMMV!

I actually just went to a local dealership that had a ceramic matrix gray and I'm of the same opinion. It's an overcast day and jsut finished raining. It literally looks like paint primer. It was parked next to a black one and...while not a color I was originally thinking about it is incredibly menacing looking. I think I'm stuck between black and white now!

Thanks for the answers though. I'll just chalk it up to the dealers making a mistake on their listings.

JasonVette - the ceramic matrix grey metallic does look more white than grey, however it certainly does not ever look primer colored. In fact, when the sun is transitioning (sunrise/sunset) the color is even more striking. Very few overcast days here in AZ, but in those conditions the car looks awesome. Surf the web for some more C7 pics in the ceramic matrix grey. There is also a thread for that color with lots of pics on the C7 section.

I'll do just that. I'm looking at a vette with everything I want on it, but the only thing holding me back form pulling the trigger is the color!

This day wasn't overcast, but it wasn't direct sunshine either. I haven't seen my car looking like it's "primer only" during any lighting situation, but color perception is a personal thing. I will say Ceramic Grey is a color people seem to either love or dislike. I've had quite a few Corvettes, most of them black but some blue, grey and white. I love my Ceramic Grey!

Here is an Arctic White C7 next to a Ceramic Grey C8 on an overcast day
