Mine is the lowly 1LT GS, so maybe the carpet is different. Which trim level do you have?

I have the 3 LZ Trim, but the original modules did have a little less wire so Mike from Soler extended around 2 more inches because a lot of people where requesting that Even the original wiring worked just was harder to get it back there I think Mike will send you one with longer wire no questions asked He’s very accommodating and a great guy Whatever you need he’s there for you If not that’s fine as well as long as your happy that’s all that matters he cares about

Thanks for the advice! I ended up putting mine in the center console like a few of you did. Everything went smooth except when I went to take out the USB module to trim it the plastic came off and left the boards behind. When I went to put the plastic part back on the boards touched and I head a fizzle and saw some smoke. Unfortunately I think they are fried but I never used them anyway so it's no big loss. I didn't think I was going to be doing any electrical work so I never disconnected the battery, live and learn.

Agreed, Mike is at the absolute top of the customer service game. I'm good with the setup, but 100% agree (and THANKS).

3LZ.... NICE!

Great options (and with pictures!). Mine is just sitting in front of the shifter for now, and slides around when I get into the throttle.

How long is the "long" cable? Mine measures ~50 inches...

How does the USB port pop out? Can it be done from the outside or do you have to remove the console to compress the clips?

You have to pop the clips on the console and tilt it up. The USB port has clips on the back that you can squeeze and it will pop off. I didn't take my console completely off.

Regarding the TC display cable length and snaking it around to mount it, Mike at Soler confirmed the cable is terminated in a standard Apple Lightning connector that can be lengthened with a Lighting extension cable.

Devnull, a black plastic plug with a fitted wire-sized groove pushed into that hole in your center-console would look more "finished," if anyone were ever to look. BE WELL!
