Default Soler TC mounting

I just installed my Soler performance throttle controller and so far I love it. As of now though it's just kind of thrown on my center console because I can figure out a good place to mount it. I also can't figure out what to do with the box and connector down by the pedal. Where have you guys mounted these? I'd love to see some ideas

Except I don’t have that huge hole like that You should push out the usb jack slightly shave next to the bump out that holds it in place, slide the wire next to it then push the usb plug back in and you can’t even tell

I pulled the carpet down and fed the plug through the oem carpet hole, the box part lays flat there. I mounted the controller under the push start

Thank you, I also just pulled the connection through the hole behind the carpet, snug but there’s room, and hid the wire up then behind all the paneling up to the console box

THANKS! I use velcro tape (the rough side) on the back of the module and it sticks like glue to the carpet (see pics). You can run the cable and fish it into the console without removing it (just drill the hole for it to come through and remove the leather trim piece in the last pic). Hope that helps!

Mine is a C-6, but I think the C-7 has the same door release. I have tucked the wire away better since this pic was taken, and moved it up a little bit.

Good idea. I usually have a grommet there to finish it off, but when I did the MGW I forgot to put it back lol.

How do you remove that trim piece Dev? I understand it is easy to break the clip.

I pull the clips loose from the back first, then there is a little hook clip at the front side so you just pull the whole piece back.

From MGW's site (they verbalize it well): To avoid damaging the trim panel hook clip on the C7s, you must start from the BACK, carefully working your way to the front. DO NOT remove the C7 trim by starting from the front! Doing so will damage the clip!

Here is a pic showing that hook clip and where it goes. Very easy once you do it the first time.

Hey bud this is for a C7, but on the Soler (at least mine) there is not enough slack to get it behind the carpet. I did with the Vitesse, but I can't with my Soler.

Mine is the lowly 1LT GS, so maybe the carpet is different. Which trim level do you have?

I had no issues getting it behind the carpet going through the hole that the original plug went through, then had some slack mounting it under the start button

Interesting. Mine has zero play or room for that!

I will say that I remove this thing from time to time (track day, etc) and so even if I could get it back there, I'd probably still do the velcro since I can rip it out in seconds. Either works, and I like the behind the carpet look a little better (but again I'm keeping the velcro for now).

Nice.

I mounted mine here....and I think it's a nice, clean install, with no drilling required.

Just fish the cable thru the steering column opening.
