Default HELP! - part identification

I have a 2015 Z51. The quick disconnect on the tube in front of my cabin air filter compartment is broken. I'm currently using a zip tie to help make sure it stays together. A local shop told me that if I buy the part, they will switch it out for free. The problem is that I have no idea what part this is or where to find it. Would anybody be able to identify this part or point me in the right direction on where I could get that information? I'm not sure if just the clip can be replaced or if it is part of a larger assembly. Help is greatly appreciated! Thank you!

The part is part #12631869 PVC tube with a list price of $53.28, the other end should be attached to your air intake housing. Don't think they sell the clip.

Yikes. Thats part of your dry sump oil system.

Look up gmpartsdirect.com

might be able to find something there. May have to replace the tubing with that faster already attached.

I do not think you will find just the coupler by itself, but rather have to purchase the entire tubing piece. Best of luck getting it fixed.

You think it's risky to drive around until I get it replaced? I've been told by others that it is only a venting tube and worst case if it comes undone while driving, it won't hurt anything - I'll just have to pull over and push it back together.

I would tape it up better so it doesn't come apart until it's replaced.

Call around to any local "Pick and Save" style junk yards and see if they have a wrecked C7 that you can take it from. Good Luck!

Thank you very much for the help. When I put my vehicle information in under that part on gmpartsdirect.com, it says that it does not fit my vehicle. Could the fact that mine is a Z51 and not a regula Stingray make a difference?

Regular base Stingrays don't have that line running across that tank.

Unless it has been issued a new part number, as I am unable to verify, it is the correct part. A regular Stingray does not have a remote oil tank as it is a wet sump system.

A word of advice about gmpartsdirect.com, They show really good prices, but they make their money jacking up the shipping cost. This cost is where they make their profit. They show shipping for that part to me, 80 miles away, at $17.66 for a total cost of $50.61 a savings of a whopping $2.67 off the LIST price. If you go to their dealership, they will not sell it to you for the gmpartsdirect price, I know, I asked. In most cases, you are better off going to your local dealer where most dealers will give you a better price without the high shipping charges.

Thank you very much for the advice. I'm also reaching out to my dealership to find out if this is covered to just be replaced under my $0 deductible bumper-to-bumper extended warranty.
