I'm pretty much figuring that the top end of the speedo is it.
Kind of sort of.
This is because when I was 17, I drove my mother's Cutlass Cruiser to the limit of the speedo, which was 120. I still accelerated, and who the heck knows?

I've seen figures ranging from 187 mph to 195 mph, but each car could vary a bit. Whatever the real number is, it's plenty fast enough to get a driver in a whole lot of trouble.
