sure it’s been addressed before- I’m not great at navigating this site.
Any highly recommended floor jacks ? I already assume low profile. Anything else to look for/ look out for?
TIA. Stay healthy and sane ☮️
I’ve got a couple expensive ones, and a couple cheap ones from Harbor Freight. The Harbor Freight jacks perform just as well, if not better, but I can’t attest to their longevity... yet. Just make sure that you get a low-profile version in the 2’ish ton rating. Actually, 1.5 tons will work, but I’d go a little higher for more universal use.
This is a timely thread! I have a Craftsman aluminum low profile that I have used for years. But with my GS there is not enough length to make it into the pucks. The sides angle up too soon to and interfere with the skirts. Sounds like Harbor Freight is the way to go on this one.
I always opt for a pair of aluminum racing jacks (low profile)... doesn't seem to matter which or from where. Most are probably made in the same Chinese factories, anyway. Aluminum is, for me, worth the usual extra cost for ease of handling. All the best! Btw, I use the aluminum, screwed-in/leave-in, jacking pucks, as well.

gpotski, While your AC Jack is of Higher Quality than the inferior Harbor Freight crap that us commoners buy, it only
demonstrates that you have significant discretionary money to throw around..............
I agree. I have one if these and I think they are the best. I have a couple of the aluminum hf jacks for the trailer and track days but there's no comparison. When the aluminum ones fail I just throw them away. The AC will probably be passed down to my great grandchildren.
