Here's a start:

In addition, Reliable, Passport, Intercity, and Plycar all get good reviews here...mostly. There is always one horror story that's the exception. And everyone will agree not to go through a broker.

I recommend Paige Johnson of SPLP auto transport. Price was great, she kept me informed of progress of my car.

I just booked a Montway transport from FL to MN and lucked out with the driver that picked up the car. I am actually having the car delivered today and can ask him if he'd do a job straight up (no broker) if you are interested - he is based in FL and has a beautiful enclosed truck.

Montway reached out to me immediately after requesting a quote and basically told me how they are extra careful about how they book cars like corvettes.. Their rate was also about $700 less than everyone else to boot. My new car had a ride within a couple of hours..

Many such threads here. I used Passport Transport before buying my own trailer years ago. Don't be cheap and do NOT go through a broker... DO NOT!

Avanti - I would strongly disagree with your statement. I had an extremely positive experience with the company that transported my vehicle to me. I received a fantastic price and the company kept well informed of the progress of the vehicle to my home. The driver called and asked me what would be the best time to deliver.

I obviously can not speak to your experience, but to deliver a blanket statement of ‘DO NOT’ is not fair to all transport companies

I think Intercity is more commonly used with very high levels of satisfaction regardless of the pick up or drop of location. They were used when I sold my 14 Z51 and both myself and the buyer could not have been happier with them.
