Default Installed real CF emblems today

It took a while to find real CF emblems, but I took a gamble with carbonlution since no one else seems to make them. (Unfortunately APSIS does not make C7 emblems.. I loved my C6 ones that they made.)

Price was decent, quality is good. The resin is not completely perfect, but you have to look very close to find the few little bubbles. They are obviously thicker than the OEM emblems though it's not a huge difference visually on the car.

I took off the emblem with a trim tool, which was actually much simpler and easier than fishing line. No additional heat needed either!

Oh, and I tried my first polish with a mother's Powerball while I was bumbling around back there. Worked pretty well!

The emblems look good on your car and for the shiny exhaust tips.

Nice job making the car your own. Not my cup of tea, but not my car. Stay safe out there.

It does look to be of decent quality. I have not seen a carbon fiber emblem on a C7 before.

I know other people out there must have them, but I've never seen a C7 example posted. The APSIS version I had on my C6 had a cool paint matched design on top, but these definitely work. Give it kind of a cool stealth look.

(This was my C6 one)

The C6 version is more fun. But the C7 version looks quite good also.

Not for me but the 3D detail on the Crossed Flags is very cool . While I was a fan of “blacking out” my Chevy flag on my Gen 6 Camaro SS, there is too much history there in what makes up the corvette logo....would be hard for me to mess with. I like the black carbon version the most and that is what I changed mine out with.

That's why I love real CF over hydrocarbon, there is a depth that just can't be replicated. I also can't do prints over real paintings for the same reason.

Understandable. One of the reasons the C6 one was cool because it maintained the design on top. Unfortunately I had to take what I could get here! I still keep the original emblems in my office though on display.
