Default Head room

For those that had previous generations. How is the head room compared to the earlier years ?

I haven't had a previous generation, but I'm impressed with the C7's headroom for such a low sports car. I'm 6'1, and easily have an inch and a half, or more, of space between my head and the roof. You just have to lower the seat cushion. The power adjustments allow you to lower both the front and the rear of the cushion. Lots of steering wheel adjustment too.

Kind of depends on the size of the person. Without that key info, whether someone fits or not has zero context.

I'm 5' 11" with a 32" inseam. Plenty of headroom with a helmet on in both my C6 GS (factory seat) and C7 GS (factory seat and now OMP Halo Seat on AMT rails). My C4 GS was was pretty tight even with the seat all the way down.

I’ve had C3s, C4s and C5s. My C7 has as much if not better headroom (at least for me) as any other one I have owned. If headroom is a concern, best thing to do is find a car and test it out.

I'm 6'1" and about 245 lb. Overall I find the C7 cockpit a bit smaller than the C6. Width feels a bit tighter, seat doesn't go back quite as far, doesn't recline quite as much and headroom a bit less. The first time I sat in one I could not get comfortable and I declined a test drive. I then found the following tip on adjusting the seat and I was able to get comfortable. Read the tips and then go sit in a C7. A lot will depend on how you are built - long legs / short torso, short legs, etc...

Good Luck!

Ron

I'm 6-foot, but for me there is no noticeable difference between my C7 and my C5 (which I still have). It's not close enough in either car that I've ever noticed.

For what it's worth, I'm thin and find the C7 seats much more comfortable than the C5's.

I’m 6’5” and had an 82 C3 with glass tops and had enough headroom, although most of my height is in my legs. With the C7 I have the standard top and sufficient headroom. The extra width in the seating and shoulder area is greatly appreciated

Hi...

I'm 6'2"...have had a C3 and C5 long term...now the C7...all coupes. Never an issue with headroom. My 6'4" buddy drove my C7 recently...he was a bit challenged for leg room, but no issues on the head part.
