Just wait for a little while. As people find out it is noisier, hotter
and no big deal, they will pop up at a better price.
I was considering one, but, it is now a little too warm here in
Tidewater to use. Maybe in the fall or winter.
Last year you could get a used one on the Corvette Forum for $1000-1200. Sure glad I bought last year. I would continue to watch the C7 Parts For Sale section. You could get lucky. Generally the used ones are like new.
Well new from say one of the forum vendors or directly from the parts dept at a Chevy dealer was approx 1700.00.
Used here on the forums typically for mint tips or close to mint they range 900 ish without mounting hardware to 1200 ish with mounting hardware. I’m sure it will go up from here though some they are no more new ones in the channel and even used are hard to get so be prepared to pay.

There were literally thousands of transparent roofs produced through the C7 production run.
It appears as a higher percentage than the C6 due to the individual, dual roofvisible carbon and dual roof painted options which each featuring the transparent top.
That doesn’t even count the dealer supply chain of after sales purchases.
If you really want one, you should be able to find one. Especially if someone is trading their car in and the top is home under the bed or in the basement. The price will be driven by the individual buyer and seller. Right now they are a hot item because of the announcement of the discontinued part. Eventually they will show up.
Good luck.
They are for sale her on the C7 parts for sale section quite regularly. One was list just a few days ago the last time I was there. The main issue is that most don't want to ship. I've bought one here. All the best; btw, I'd not own a Vette without the clear roof.

Yes this is exactly the problem shipping. Most sellers don’t want to bother shipping because it’s expensive and a hassle to protect and wrap. Plus it has to be insured. This makes it expensive where sellers don’t want to deal with it and buyers don’t want to pay ask that money extra either. So that leaves most top sales for local pickup and this is where it gets hard to find. Making the pickings slim. That’s why they are hard to get.

Congratulations! Good to hear. Thanks for the info.
