Default Header install on dry sump....

Any tips and tricks to installing long tube headers, I’ve been seeing people removing oil lines? Wondering how that works? Any videos, tips, comments and feedback would help! Thanks appreciate it!

My tip is to have a professional do it. I just got my 2015 Z51 Stingray back from Vengeance Racing after doing headers, x-pipe, catch can, 180 therm, upgraded plugs, and a tune. Couldn't be happier. Yeah, I could've installed it myself, but I prefer having a shop that specializes in high performance GM motors do it instead.

I am from the other side of the coin, I enjoy working on my car so i do all my mods
Plenty of install threads , not that hard at all but it did take longer than my C6
Removal of the cats was my hard part ... one bolt you need to use a pass through ratcheting socket ( Thank u Gary Barnes )
One thing I learned from the threads is ... if they say take it off , take it off...fuse box removal , coil covers , steering shaft moved to the side and take out the plugs as that is all you read about is people trying to do it with the plugs in and when they start the car... they have a miss lol

Be careful with your PVC line that goes into the center of the valve cover , you have to heat it then turn it 90 degrees to get it to release without breaking the two little clips. If u do break them ...its OK as the line will still go back in and its a tight friction fit . The little peices .. just stay in the baffle and have no chance of getting into the motor

Here is one of the threads I used
https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...nd-tricks.html

I asked guys on here a ton of questions so once I got started.. i had no surprises
Feel free to email me thru these forums if you have any questions
Dave

I then used my Diablo to log the car and get a street tune sent to me to upload ...
If I ever go back to stock I can just upload the orginal tune myself
