Well I am continuing with my stitch dyeing and just finished most of the drivers seat. I gotta tell you going stitch by stitch is enough to make you go blind................. I think I'll take a few days break before continuing.... Top is before...pass side. lower is dyed drivers side.

I thought I was going blind! I stared hard at the first picture, and for the life of me, I couldn't see the "dye" or whatever marker you were using to make the stitches yellow.
Then I got to the second pic, and laffed myself silly.
Looks very good---those are a lot of stitched to "dye." Good luck. I'm sure it'll be worth it at the end of your work.

Thanks...I should have put a "before and after" tag.....This is one tedious mod but looks great when the top is down. Did the doors and dash last week.

You don't have to do it stitch-by-stitch. Hold your marker on its side and rub across 3 to 4 inches of stitching at a time. Wipe the excess off the "leather" and continue on.
I did my my entire interior in about 30 minutes this way

I figured that one out halfway thru. I'd do a dozen at a time then wipe.......It DID speed things up.....
The seats are easy. Wait till you get to the dash. I heard people saying “nothing to it”. Took me a few hours and I went pretty fast. Mine was red on black seats. I would do about a foot then wipe of with clean rag. The steering wheel is tough also. Good luck you’ll make it.
I have the red marker pens for mine just have not done it yet. Still up in the air about doing it. You definitely cannot tell the difference from factory. It looks good!!

I actually did the dash and doors first. I found using a bright flashlight to light up the area worked well. Any dye that ended up on the leather that I missed wipe right off with alcohol but stayed on the thread. Finished it all up today......
I used 2 different pens. The Zig pen has two felt tips. A narrow and wide. The other is a fabric dye pen with a cloth tip. Both worked equally well and both from amazon
