I have a 2016 Corvette that shutters . The service bulliten says to replace the transmission fluid. I have a full warranty. They want me to pay $800 because the say fluids are not covered.
If the fluid is the cause , it should be covered. Does anyone else have the same issue?

Also who is the dealer trying to screw you over? Don’t be afraid to mention their name.
Time for a new dealer. Post your location, or even better, post up in your respective regional forum, and you're likely to find dealer recommendations from the forum as well.

The dealer is Depaula Chevy in Albany NY ,,,,,8000 miles on the car, GM problem and I have to pay. I am going to call a competiter to see that they charge.
I took TSB to my dealer and they did the fluid change with no questions asked and gave me a loaner. I wasn't having any issues but tsb said if customer complains change the fluid no testing or driving the car and this is what I pointed out when I took my car in and they said OK. Shifts a lot smoother and as everyone that has on says, GET A RANGE DEVICE AND B DONE WITH IT.

That's what you should do japur. Depaula is just trying to screw you over. They'll charge you, and then turn it into GM as warranty work for a second payment I'm sure. If I were you, when you get this taken care of I would put this out on Google reviews, and www.dealerrater.com. Let all know what this dealer is about. Good luck.

Does that TSB cover cars that are out of warranty? Do out of warranty cars have to pay?
Just picked up a 2015 Z06/Z07 with 3900 miles. No shudder but this worries me.

From all the posts about this subject, it all depends on the Dealer, warranty or not.
Some members have posted no problem, no questions asked when getting the new Fluid installed even when not under warranty.
Some,.. when not under warranty mention it was $600.00 for labor, and again, it all depended on which Dealer they went to
Bottom line, when still under warranty, it's free/suppose to be free, but as with said Dealer mentioned, they're trying to make more money.
The final decision is after a call to GM and they contacted Depaula Chevy of Albany , Depaula picked up the tab.......it sucks that you have to argue until the sun comes out.
Gonna see how my local dealer treats this when I approach them this week. I drive with my Range connected at all times since I purchased, but I move it from the Vette to the Avalanche and I've forgotten it once or twice.
