Rick Hendricks of Norfolk, when I went in and told them it was shifting crazy and had a weird vibe on the highway when I touch the gas to increase speed a little bit. They took it for a test drive and told me everything is fine and they could duplicate my conditions. That was when my car was on factory warranty and now I am on the extended warranty, still shift weird in town between 15 and 25 mph. Sometimes it will snap you back when you touch the gas and it down shift from 5th to 1st at 20 mph. I guess it is normal.

My 2016 had several strange noises. After the 3 time transmission flush, that fixed 2 of the noises but I still had a "shudder" noise when only in V4. After reading some posts and taking my service guy for a ride....they came up with Bulletin #15-NA-040 for Belt Tensioner Issues. They replaced the Belt Tensioner and so far it has fixed the V4 mode noise.

Shouldn’t of had to argue. I got a 2016 with 20,000 miles about a month ago. It needed the transmission flush. Took it to a local dealer who knew all about the A8 issues. Had it done in a day with no issues. Covered under the power train warranty.
