That is an excellent idea Ric. I will try it next time. Yep, I went the wrong way more times than I would like to admit. My previous car had all the adjustments (except toe) on the upper control arms so I lay under the Stingray and think..no wait..move the eccentric out not in.

I have, on other cars, had bad luck relying on the eccentrics when the car has it's weight on the wheels. Getting the rear caster right along w/ the camber, getting both sides equal, required jacking the rear of the car up, adjust, drop it down and then roll it back and forth to settle the suspension, measure, 10 cycles. And then I did the toe. And the next day I did the front.
It sounds like you did everything correct except you left out one very valuable DIY tool; take 4 sheets of sheet metal (16 or 14 Gage) about 12" square. all with nice new clean surfaces, put two sheets face to face with a liberal amount of grease between them, place one set under each tire so when you lower the car onto the metal sheets, the top will move Independence of the lower sheet. Give a couple of healthy bounces on the suspension AND THEN take your reading....repeatability will be way better.

Flame on, enjoy the ride.
