Looks in really nice condition and yes I am partial to the color. Enjoy the car and best of luck with it sir.
Just FYI, I also had a 2006 M.T. Burnt Orange GTO for a while.

GTO's are great cars. I had mine for 10 yrs.. Loved it.
Congrats on your choice of colors. You picked a great car. What kind of RWHP are you putting out? I just changed out the chrome lug nuts to black. You should by the black lug nuts they look much better

Ha! same car.. I had to have yellow. It didn't have the stingray emblems on the fenders.. I bought them before I got the car. They were waiting when I got home.. LOL Can you take a pic of the interior?
I believe it was dyno'd at 568 rwhp. I've had a lot of sports cars.. Iroc's, Trans am's, Corvettes... But this car when you get into the supercharger feels like nothing I've ever felt before. I'd love to drive a positive displacement blown car and see the difference. I think I'd like a whipple,Edelbrock more because the power is on tap all the time and I don't really push my cars at all.

The LT4 is frick'in awesome. Power is instant. It has 450 lb-ft of TQ at 1,000 RPM and 650 lb-ft at 3,600 rpm.
With that being said, a stock LT1 C7 is a very fast car as well. I love 'em all.
p.s. my first new car was a black '86 IROC-Z. It was one good looking car! (of course a V6 Honda accord would outrun it now )

iroc's were the real deal back then. I had 4 of them. None new. but low miles. I'm wondering how I would go about getting a whipple ect.. Would any of these dealers take my ESC on trade?

The IROCs handled very well.
I don't know about trading in one blower for another, but it shouldn't be hard to find out. One thing to consider is to drive it and enjoy it like it is. If it were me - and I wanted to change it - I would buy a C7 Z06. It's engineered for that HP from the ground up. I do know that the LT1's have some forged components (crankshaft or connecting rods - but not both), but not the entire rotating assembly. For the amount of $ you'll spend to have the swap done, plus what you paid for the car, you will be halfway to the price of a lightly used Z06.
HOWEVER - If you are the type that can do the work yourself - then that would definitely be different. . It would be doable for not too much $.

Thank you for the input. I'm in the fence. I can't do the work myself. It would be more fun to have a twin screw blower tho.
