I've cut the 2023 C8 convertible roof mount camera housing.
I bought a spare C7 halo cover and will start laying out the cutout for the camera and cable. Once the cutout is done I'll have an autobody shop refinish the halo cover and camera housing for final assembly.

Follow the recipe and you're in good shape. The video cable and power for the camera are available from Gen5diy, in San Diego
The cameras alone from GM are pricey, but the "Appliqué" with the C8 roof panel & camera is only $130.
