Got a 16` Z51 with an Infotainment issue. Basically it goes ON by itself 20 seconds after I put my car to sleep. Lock the doors, everything`s off and 20 seconds later infotainment and On Star goes ON draining my battery in hours.
Am from Chile and there`s no local support for Corvettes as it is a direct Import unit, asked about a Radio Reflash and the VIN is not released for Chile by GM so is not in their database for Reflash or reprogram.
I want to replace my BCM as am sure it is the safest bet to fix the issue, but with no local reprogram... Do you know about any way for remote programming ?? Any chance to buy one already reprogrammed ?? or make GM to release the VIN to Chile cloud ?? If I ship back my BCM can I get it cloned and shipped back ??
Any input is welcome... Seems like a minor issue but ir VERY annoying and definitely needs to fix before selling...
After deleting all history DTC, one of the stayed on unable to be deleted
U0422
And two of them showed up again as soon as I started the car
U0415
U042B
Just read the U0422 is BCM related and may be guilty for my infotainment to turn on.
Also good to mention this happened days after I picked up the car from a Header upgrade, and requesting information to the shop I found the header was removed from top and the Fuse box completely removed.
Any idea what to check ??
Thanks..!
Not a BCM problem. The shop probably did not get the fuse box reinstalled correctly. It could be a partially mated connector, a pushed in pin, or maybe a bent pin. A pinched wiring harness under the fuse box would be another thing to check.

Relly appreciate your help...
Fuse box was pulled, cleaned, inspected and reinstalled.
Same for all connectors below it... The car left the shop working perfect after headers install, it happened weeks after that out of nowhere...
The only current mod is Throttle controller... Installed month ago...
YES, pull the throttle controller and see what happens. If nothing good, then try disconnecting the positive battery cable for at least 30 seconds (with the controller still unhooked)... and, consider a good cleaning of both battery connectors and battery terminals while you're at it, reconnect, and try, again. All the best, and maybe the Forum experts will offer more options.

Will do and report back...
I truly appreciate every feedback on this subject...
I’m curious if the T/C fixes the problem. I’ve been having issues with my key fob receiver (also controlled by the BCM). After reading this thread, I went out to the garage and removed the T/C. Instantly the key fob works again. Very interesting. I’ve had this T/C installed for about a year. Not sure why all of a sudden it would start causing issues with the BCM.
Unfortunately it didn`t fix the issue... Removed T/C connector and plugged directly to car Throttle, unplugged battery terminal por 10 Mins, replugged and radio went on 20 seconds later.
This is really annoying and extremely worrying when you don`t have dealer support... Not sure what else to do...
The DTC codes pulled by OEM Scanner @ dealer..
P26C5 Exhaust Control related, I pulled the fuse

U0422 BCM related ??
U0140 BCM Related ??
Radio Software Version: 23415881
Am on ground zero here... Any idea what to check next ?? And about the BCM replacement, any chance for remote programming ??
Here is a completely off-the-wall idea. If the telematics module is stuck in an active phone call, it will power the radio and Onstar until the call completes. So maybe you should try pulling the fuse on the telematics module and trying your test. That's F27 in the rear body fuse block.

Fuse pulled and radio goes ON again... 20 Seconds later... Remote start doesn’t work anymore and at the time of door opening it clicks three time even when is opened...
