Radio / Infotainment turns on after shut down...
Please you feedback on this subject... No dealer support so am on my own in Chile...
2016 Z51 No issue until yesterday... Early AM I noticed the car didn`t start and the battery was dead, first time it happens even afer being sitting for weeks....
Ok, I jumped the car and started, went for a ride to charge battery and when I came back and parked I noticed the radio would turn on automatically after a few seconds... I shut down the car, get out, lock the doors and evrything is fine... But 10 seconds later the radio turns on and plays music... If I turn the radio off on ACC mode it goes On anyway and stays with the Corvette logo in the screen for ever (picture),,,, Pulled the Radio Fuse to reset, pulled the battery to reset, charged the battery 100% and keeps happening...
Screen & Mirror LED`s turn on by itself a few seconds after the car is completely shutted down. Stays like that forever and the only way to turn it off is by pulling the fuse...
As I said I have no dealer support as this is a direct import car. Any word of wisdom or advice os more than welcome... Any idea what to check ??
Thanks..!!!

I say replace it

Further explanation: if the battery is very new (first three months or so) it is possible to re charge the battery. Several ways to do it, but the two best are both slow-charge, not a 1 hour or two hour fast-charge. One of those ways is to take the car on a highway and do at least 1500 rpm for about 30-45 minutes.
The reason you get funny things happening, like lights or other things coming on, many warning lights is it's a tell-tale sign the battery is down and going out. Can it be "fixed"? Usually not. Remember also to check all grounding spots, of which I think there's three possibly four. .

Battery is maybe 6 month old; and not sure what happened first. If it was drained because of the radio thing, or it got drained overtime and then this radio thing happened...

Did your battery die while connected to the maintainer, or did you connect the maintainer after finding out the battery died? Something is wrong with the battery if it ran down while connected to a maintainer.
Sorry to bring it back but Damned radio still turns on on a closed, no interior light and shut down car.
Just replaced my battery to discard that issue, 20 mins after battery change the radio turns on. If I turn it off only the corvette is shown on screen, but infotainment turns on anyway draining my battery.
I will check for codes on Monday but am extremely worried about this issue, its a direct import car in my country and I have no dealer support.
Any advice is welcome...
thanks !!

The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts
My car goes to sleep as normal, all closed and all lights off.
But 10 Mins later infotainment and Mirror Led turns on.
Brand new battery after draining my old one (6 month old).
After deleting all history DTC, one of the stayed on unable to be deleted
U0422
And two of them showed up again as soon as I started the car
U0415
U042B
Just read the U0422 is BCM related and may be guilty for my infotainment to turn on.
Also good to mention this happened days after I picked up the car from a Header upgrade, and requesting information to the shop I found the header was removed from top and the Fuse box completely removed.
Any idea what to check ??
Thanks..!
