Yes 2 months, I hope they were not pulling my leg when I ordered it.

There are a few you tube videos outlining how to repair 3LT lifting dash leather by injecting a specific adhesive under the leather with a small needle (22-25 gauge) and 3 cc syringe and smooth using a small towel squeegee. Do a search of c7 corvette 3lt dash leather repair. A lot more convenient and economical than replacing the dash.

Do you (or anyone else) happen to know what that part number is for the 3LT dash? I'm going to be following up with my dealer again and wanted to do my own homework on part availability.

Thanks!

Part numbers are different for each color. What color interior are you looking for?

I have the adrenaline red/black interior.

I thought the dash was just the black part and the red parts were separate. I did forget that there were brown/tan dashboards!

Looks like it's the right one. I appreciate you tracking down the part number for me. Thanks!

I am posting this for a friend who does not do computers or forums. He bought a 2016 Z in October 2021. It had about 11K miles on it. A few weeks later he noticed the loose leather on the dash. It keeps getting worse. He has only put about 1,500 miles on it. It stays in the garage with a cover on it. From what I have seen on here I think a recall is a reasonable remedy.

That’s too bad. Of course GM is not “reasonable.” Otherwise they would’ve taken better action.

If it was warranted, he should have taken it back when it happened. Not 1+ years later...

Are recalls done on that sort of thing? I know if it is a safety thing, sure.

For anyone in or around Houston (or if you care to drive here). I have repaired several C7 dashes. I recover them with the leather looking vinyl in a full day for $1650 all in. I have pics.

Wow, after reading this about the many peeling dashes... don't think I need to buy that 2019 3LT now... while I will keep it garaged... and even my work place has a cover... and I will use a sunscreen when out and about... it sounds like the peeling is bound to happen!
