Default Range limiter

I just received the Range Limiter I ordered....The instructions state that if it isn't a daily driver to remove it as it can cause a battery drain in certain vehicles....Are our C7's one of those "vehicles"? From what I have read here on the forum , I didn't see any problems with it....

I have kept mine in for over a week, without driving, with no drain/issues.

Standard disclaimer on the box. Early versions had issues. I leave mine in all the time, no problem at all.

If it is version 8.6 or higher, there are no battery draw issues. Packaging is dated.

Only in the highly unlikely scenario GM can establish use of the Range device caused damage for which you are seeking warranty coverage.

I agree.
Just remove your Range device prior to taking your C7 in for service AND if your locality requires emissions testing then remove your Range device and drive C7 100 miles or so without prior to emissions testing or it could result in failing test.

As has been stated by others the current V8.6 R1 version will not draw on battery. I keep my Range installed all the time and I've gone weeks without driving with no draw on battery.
