I'm too old to worry about saving the miles for the next owner.

I took delivery of my new C6 in Detroit and had 5,500 miles on it by the time I got home in Phoenix 30 days later. The used '19 I just bought a couple weeks ago has 3,900 miles now, but I'm pretty sure it'll be over 10K before Christmas. I bought it to drive and that's what I intend to do. My garage ornaments hang on the walls.

Hey to each his own! But by my calculation, in 360 months, you will hit 20,000 miles!

Drive that fun Corvette! I'm hitting Tail of the Dragon and other great mountain roads next week - if I can get past hurricane Sally in the next couple of days! Yahoo!!

I find it difficult to understand buying a toy and then not using it.

A low mileage "Garage Queen" Corvette is the best thing for the second owner. I did the same with a 2006. At 4 years old it had only 6K miles on the odo. It helped the 2nd owner more than it did me. I promised myself that would never happen again, and that I would enjoy my Corvette's. We're on a nice little 2K miles road trip in our GS right now, and are having a ball. Now that's just my story. It's your car, and you should enjoy it any way it makes you happy.

Default 500 mile mile stone

I bought my new 2019 GS in mid may of 2019 and with this covid thing there's not may places in Brooklyn I drive to but when Im not hand washing/waxing/detailing her I'm tooling around on the streets of Brooklyn. Just went over 500 miles late last month. Don't forget to get your 500 mile oil change.

Headed for Eureka Springs this fall and Canada next summer. Will likely find some shorter stuff to keep me busy.
