I use a plastic cement mixing tub available at Lowe’s or Home Depot. It fits conveniently within the storage area. It’s cheap and easily stored when not in use. I also made a hard divider to separate the passenger compartment from the storage area. (cost about $12). The divider provides a storage space behind the seats for smaller items.

I'd like to see a photo of your divider and some details of construction. I like the idea.

I usually only have it expanded to two, and keep the third space folded. You can also take the dividers out and have a long space.

^^^. Nice idea and only $20. Thinking about grabbing one to carry cleaning and detail supplies for when I go to a show.

The cargo net works pretty well for heavy items like a case of beer. If you slam on the brakes, the stretch in the net acts like a shock absorber keeping things from bashing into a solid wall.
