Default Exhaust system upgrade

I have a C7 stingray and looking to upgrade my exhaust system. I am looking at the corsa extreme axle back with xpipe. Trying to get the aggressive sound. Also looked at Borla. What would be a good choice?

Both are awesome, high quality systems. Does your car have NPP (the adjustable exhaust)? If so, make sure you get an NPP system to retain that adjustability.

I have a Borla ATAK NPP on this one, but have done Corsa before as well. They are excellent systems!

I have the Corsa Sport axle back on my Stingray and am pleased with the sound and look. Looking back, I wish I would have gone with the Corsa Extreme. I would only consider that for Corsa as the Sport is not that loud. I'm hoping the Corsa x pipe and cat delete will raise the volume. Good luck.

You have to decide what sound level appeals to you and what price you are willing to pay. You have a lot of choices...…...Akrapovic, AFe, Armytrix, AWE, Billy Boat, Borla, Capristo, Corsa, Flowmaster, Hooker, Magnaflow, Meisterschaft, MRT and I probably missed some. Check 'em out and get what you think sounds the best to you.https://www.youtube.com/results?sear...rvette+exhaust

Corsa or Borla - both are quality systems. I lean towards Corsa but it would be best if you can find cars with an example of each system on them and be able to hear what they sound like. May be a difficult thing to do though, depending on where you live and the number of Corvettes in your area.

Packing a Borla “S” with X pipe....plenty loud on valve open sport mode ...start up ? It’s a neighbor hater .. and there is still another level up in the “ATAK “ to go. Went with S level as I have seen a few posters on here selling their ATAK system as they were way to loud. I figured the S model would be right about threshold and the X pipe would take it across ....foe my tastes.
Having experienced this system for the last 3 months it has a “Chewbacca_esque” tone And excellent back pressure on letting off throttle at about 4-5k.
I will say while I am happy with the Borla decision 100%, they seem to have a sizable problem with packaging. I opted for the “Intercooled” tips in black, the first system the tips were all scratched ...so they sent me a second system....scratched . I opted to keep the 2nd system and have the tips powder coated rather than roll the dice again. I will say team Borla jumped in and covered that cost as well as the original costs of install.
Bets of luck

I installed the Corsa Extremes w/their X-pipe and couldn’t be happier w/the volume, appearance, and tone... without the drone

I went with the Corsa Sport because I wanted a little LESS sound but with the same quality. She's not going anywhere and the Extreme was just too loud. And the Extreme with an x-pipe, wow, stealth is not in the alphabet with that set up, very cool......

I went with the Sport and an X-pipe. Was thinking about the Extreme but after hearing it in person on another vette I passed. I have neighbors and want to keep them friendly. The sound I have now is what I wanted....awesome!

Do you have a Stingray, Z or GS? Do you have any sound clips of the Sport with the Corsa Z pipe? Thanks.

I have a base C7, CAI and Solar throttle body. I can get a clip tomorrow but it won't be the same. Audio always inaccurate.

I have a base C7 also with the Soler throttle body and Sport axle back. I'm wanting to add the Corsa X pipe and not having a lot of luck with sound clips. I'm just wondering how much different/louder it will be. That would be great if you could send a clip. Thanks.

Love them, I think they can be polarizing to people but this is my vision. I will tell you the build quality exceeded OEM and their performance has been spectacular. They are made by Morimoto (https://www.morimotohid.com/) and impressive I got to see the headlights as well but too rich for my blood, solid but prefer OEM design. Hope this helps

Joe were you intending on sending a clip of a cold start? Nothing is attached. FYI

Here is a quick cold start of bone stock and the just the xpipe (Borla 60547). I’ll get one of the Borla ATAK as well soon.
