Hey guys, I’m no mechanic, but I have a corvette 2015 auto stingray with an A&A supercharger, also has no catalytic converters. I saw the check engine light was on and ran the codes on it and this is what came up, does anyone what I should do. Car has 45k miles. Any more info you guys need please let me know., I cleared the codes and the light came back on after a 1 minute drive. Then a week later it turned off by itself but I stepped on it hard and the light went back on. When the light goes on, the car has trouble shifting at the correct time and tries to go into performance mode a lot. ALSO please understand that I don’t know any fancy car words so if you can dumb it down for me, THANKSSS
Are your NPP exhaust valves open and closing? Try switching the 'exhaust sound' setting from 'Stealth' to 'Track'.
Wish I knew. Hopefully something easy.
His trouble codes are for the "active fuel management" AFM valves "cylinder deactivation", not the "engine sound management" NPP valves. The AFM valves go through a test cycle at engine start. 2 of the errors are "feedback circuit failed."
Were the AFM valves removed? If the valves are there, is the wiring in good condition (not melted or otherwise damaged) and connectors plugged in to the AFM actuators?
You or your mechanic need to inspect the wiring and connectors as a first step...
