I know for sure that my boat hates not being used - it always runs better when its taken out at least twice a month.

I have always followed the severe schedule for every vehicle I've owned. If your honest at least one of those conditions likely applies. Plus the difference between the two schedules usually isn't that much during typical ownership periods. The extra maintenance only starts to add up on long term ownership or when the car reaches its second or third owner.

My 2017 Corvette might be a garage queen, but I still try to drive it weekly and definitely every other weekend. When I do take it for a spin, I try to go at least 40 or 50 miles with mostly highway travel. Same for my girlfriend's 2019.

They aren't museum pieces, but we try our best to keep them in good order for their eventual second owners.

My 2017 Stingray in Torch Red.

My girlfriend's 2019 Stingray in Elkhart Lake Blue.
