I put over 50,000 miles on my 14 CGM (beautiful car) with zero problems. The only differences I am aware of between the 14 and 16+ is the flat bottom steering wheel, apple/android play and 8-speed as opposed to 6-speed auto trans (not necessarily a plus), I would not hesitate to purchase a 14 if the deal is good for you.
The only reason I wouldn't buy a preowned 2014 is because it lacks front cameras. If you can find one you like and can afford, you're likely going to enjoy and appreciate the upgrade that the C7 delivers well above the C6. It's that good!💯👍
I agree that the front cameras are awesome, however, having been a front end scraper for 30 years, I learned to use the rear camera and back into parking spots to avoid ruining the front
[QUOTE=eboggs_jkvl;1602416239]It is easy to add a camera to the 14s. I have one and it is awesome. Video comes right on to the NAV screen just like the rear camera.

Really? Have you got a system name to share? I suck at reverse parking and would get that installed!
THis is the thread from hell. It was when the product first came out and it had "issues". Once everything was worked out, the product has worked as designed.

The exposed low front end of a C3 and up Corvette, is a back-into disaster waiting to happen. Never leave them exposed......For that reason, I learned to never back any of my Corvettes in. You need the visibility of the high back end in parking C3s and up. 2014s included...

Elmer,
Could you please tell us, who are interested, the product name, cost, where to buy, and is it hard to install? Would like to learn more about your front camera product and installation. THANKS.

Just look at the thread I linked in the reply. Navtool is the product.
I've owned my 14 C7 Z51 for about 3 years, this is my 2nd Vette (previously owned a 2000 C5).
The C7 is all around a better car (though both are great in their own respect), IMO the C7 looks and feels like a much more aggressive car! Another cool thing about this model is how hard it is to tell a 14 from a 19!
I've had a few minor issues with my C7 (mostly mentioned above) but nothing major.
There are tons of mods out there to consider as you "make it your own" and most are easy do it your self projects.
It still thrills me every time I drive it and the enthusiasm continues as I admire her in the garage every time I walk by!

Just bought one myself. 2014 Z51 3LT convertible Midnight Race Blue, with blue top and Kalahari interior.
Had it checked out fully by an independent mechanic and then had her shipped via enclosed carrier.
Early production models had a leaky rear seal. It did not affect the Z51's.. My screen flickers every now and again and I know it will eventually need to be replaced....
Going to buy an GMEPP before my 6 month dealer warranty expires at the end of July.
I have a 2014 C7 and it seems to be solid and so far trouble free, it is a joy to drive and very comfortable to me. I have had a C4, C5 and C6 and this one seems to be the easiest to get in and out of and most comfortable of any I've had. I really like the selectable modes that allow you to change "setups" from Weather, ECO, Touring, Sport and Track modes. I usually leave mine in Touring mode but have switched to all of them just to try. I think that the 2014 prices are coming around to be more affordable, as I traded my C6 on this one and got a really decent deal in my opinion. Good Luck!
I agree. I have a 3LT 2014 C7 with Z51, It has been totally trouble free. I have the A6, and from what I have read, the A6 is nearly bullet proof. I still get 30-32 mpg on the highway. I have read numerous articles about the A8 as having various issues.

I purchased a Cyber Gray 2014 C7 Z51 3LT A6 2 months ago. Haven’t driven it much yet, but I love the car. If you buy a car that was treated well, you shouldn’t have any issues and you will love it!
