Default Cracked Wheels

Anyone have any updates on this unfortunately very important issue? GM, the lawsuits, anything?

I've been driving Corvettes for 21 years now and this is the first car I've ever had issues like this with. Sunny southern CA roads for all that time.
Pretty sure its not me.... Pretty sure it's not really the car either.
More like the combination of these wheels (size, manufacturer, non-forged) combined with stiff run-flats.

My current story,
Corvette GS purchased July 2018
I had a new set of spectra gray wheels for less than 2 years. First the left rear, then now the right rear is cracked. I've been driving on another silver Z06 wheel (my old wheel on the car) till the spectra gray gets replaced. It now too is going flat overnight. That too has a crack on the inner rim. Just for fun I checked the other silver rear wheel that is stored without rubber.
Yup, that too... (Front ones seem to be ok)
It's getting old now...

Anyone have any updated info on this?

My 19 G/S driven off lot with 22 miles vibrated all the way home from Phoenix. Took to dealer, balanced-still vibrated. Took to tire shop, found two tires bad, both replaced by Michelin but vibration remained. Put up with the balance issue and at 9,000 miles changed tires out for Continentals. Ride much smoothers and quieter but vibration on and off still remained. Had tire shop do run out s on the wheels, front two bad and the right rear clearly visibly bad. Chevrolet quality wheels SUCK.

An all to common occurrence. Plenty of threads about C7 wheels cracking/bending.

Just take a look at this thread:

Best bet, just bite the bullet and buy a set of good forged wheels. Waiting for GM to do something may be a long wait.

If you are expecting some sort of solution from GM or anyone else, you're wasting your time. Replacing ruined GM s**t with more GM s**t in no answer. The only corrective measure is to sell whatever usable wheels you may have left and buy quality, fully-forged, aftermarket wheels. Anything else is stop-gap, at best. Good luck.

The class action lawsuit against GM was dismissed.

It was a CA court that dismissed it, what more would expect
