Default Body Shop Needed

Need some guidance in finding a reputable body shop located on Long Island NY. Repair of an annoying scrape in the corner of rear bumper. As you can see I did some touch-up but it still bothers me.

I believe that a good body shop would just replace the bumper. Possible to order and replace yourself.

A replacement would still have to be re-sprayed ....why not just fix his ....

Contact your local Corvette Club and ask them for a recommendation, they will know the best shop to take it to..

I can not recommend a shop out on Long Island but I can tell you this damage is too minor to warrant replacing the rear cover. That rear cover is expensive. I work in a body shop in the Philadelphia suburbs (Bucks County). We could easily repair that portion of your cover and then spray color, blend the color onto the rear cover only then clear the entire cover.
if you were to replace the cover you’d be (if doing it the right way) painting the entire cover, blending color onto both quarters and rear hatch and clearing all those parts. Along with the cost of the cover it wound be a big bill for a small damage.
When you go to a shop ask them how much to repair and then blend onto itself (meaning the rear cover ONLY)

Glen, Thanks for that pro-advise. I plan on just the bumper cover repair.
