The Z06 has massive power, the engine can easily overcome the tires. Traction control will do its job but road conditions are unpredictable, this is why drag racers run on a prepare surface. The learning curve is steep and mistakes will be expensive. Doing this on public streets is just asking for trouble.

But you can enjoy the power in many ways. I enjoy blasting around and live in an area with many excellent roads without much traffic. As long as I do not use the throttle as an on/off switch I can use the capabilities of the car. But I still am surprised on occasion.
My Z06 does not want to kill me as much as one of my Ducati superbikes, but it comes in as a close second.
