The car should give good service by just following the manual. If you want to be conservative, do the scheduled maintenance at 3/4 of the miles recommended instead of going the full distance.
I do a sort of hybrid conservative- make sure I never exceed the manual miles/time, and often do the work somewhat early just because of scheduling issues.
Thanks for all the great information. Being a driver, not a mechanic especially on this sophisticated of a vehicle I will take it to my local Chevy dealer for all maintance. I think in the long run it would be the safest way I, sure not the cheapest but.......
would change rear Diff, my 2017 was 1/2 quart and my 2019 Zo6 was full quart low
Good point as many have reported the diff being low from the factory.
Also if this is a new car its not a bad idea to do a "break in" change of many of the fluids like tranny and diff within the first 1,000 or so miles. While not specifically mentioned the serve schedule normally applies to lots of short trips so I tend to follow that schedule to be on the safe side. Thankfully the C7 has a OLM so it will tell you when to change the oil by calculating time, temperature and other factors besides just miles.

Just don't let them sell you on additional BS service items like injector cleaners, if it's not in the manual then you likely don't need it. However with that said you might want to put some Techron Fuel System Cleaner in every now and then to keep your fuel sending unit from getting stuck as past Corvette owners indicate this can happen. Finally if you have manual transmission the clutch fluid tends to get dirty and thus requires more frequent replacement then the manual suggests.
Yes I totally agree with you about the the serve advisor trying to sell additional items not needed. And thanks for the tip on the Techron Fuel System Cleaner !
I cant remember if this is in the manual, but be sure to remember to flush your brake fluid. My buddy had old fluid in his C6 z06 and it pulsed on him and faded bad at heavy breaking until he flushed his system with new fluid.

Yes every two years is a good idea, unless you track it or use Castorl SRF
I only drive about 3500 miles a year, but I still change the oil once a year.
Some say to change the rear-diff fluid after a year or two(when purchased new). ?????
Call me crazy but I spray my fan belts once a year with WD40 so they don't dry out. I'm pay for sharing this

Yep, I am still not satisfied w/ these oil change monitor systems built into the car. If you wait for that light to come on the oil is really ugly looking. I am not real thrilled w/ that tiny filter on my base 19 Stingray either. I got my car used in Dec 19 w/ 3800 miles on it. Soon I noticed some off brand filter so did a change at 4500 miles but used 5-30 Mobil 1 and a GM filter. Car now has 11k on it and I have never seen a light yet. I changed to the 0-40 Dexos2 and GM filter last week. I have no idea if the dealer had reset the oil system when they changed the oil but I know I didn't. So it went from at least 3800 to 11000+ w/o a light. Not my idea of a proper oil change interval. Maybe I am too old fashioned.
