Trunk area?
How much stuff can you fit in the trunk with the roof in there? Can you atleast fit to carry on suit cases. I am driving to Texas and coming back with an extra top.
I am new to the corvette. So sorry for calling it a trunk not sure what the correct word for it is.

Yes, if you don’t use the top factory holders.
Bring a blanket to wrap the new top and pack it on top of your two carry on suitcases.

When the top is in the factory brackets, there is about a foot of room between the front of the stored top and the ridge that runs along behind the seats. More, if you put stuff all the way forward up against the seat backs. Depending on the size of your carryons, you might be able to stand them up and get two of them in there. You can also put small soft bags alongside the top, and small-medium soft bags underneath the stored top with a blanket over them to keep zippers etc from damaging the underside of the top.

Have you thought about taking your existing top off and putting it in the back?
Then you can actually do a test fit of your luggage before you ever leave home.

I got the car this weekend. It's at the shop right now getting wrapped. I get it back tomorrow. I leave on Sunday. I wanted to pack before I pick it up.
