Yes I agree on the broker companies but hard to tell the difference online so many different companies until you call and most link back to same company
My son in law used a company out of Lebanon, MO. Its called Passport Transport, he had his Bmw M2 brought back from Seattle to St Louis. He's used them twice and had great service.

I used a father/son transport company called Outlaw Flipz. They hauled a car from PA to my home in CA when everyone else was too busy and for less money than the big names. Highly recommended.
Best service is Intercity Transport. Best price isn't typically the best value in auto transport. I recommend avoiding brokers.
Not in my experience. They gave me the runaround for two months in the summer of 2019. Nothing but excuses. My car sat in storage at the seller’s house while waiting for Intercity to commit to picking up the car. Fortunately, the seller was patient. I missed out on a summer of fun with my car due to Intercity’s lack of professionalism. I’ll never call them again.

Interesting, I've seen hundreds of posts here on auto transport over the years and can't remember anyone else ever reporting having received poor service from Intercity.
Are they cheap, No but inline with other top transporters.
Are they fast, not always because they're constantly in demand. They have always given me 2-6 weeks pick-up time estimates but in every case have beaten those times significantly, like pick-up in a week to 10 days.

I used Mills Transport, Dubuque, IA. Ann Arbor, MI - Dallas, TX. Cheapest enclosed carrier, $0 deductible insurance policy provided at no extra charge.

intercity’s reputation is why I contacted them, but I can only go by my experience, which was disappointing to say the least. After I posted a negative review for them on Yelp, then they had time for me, but I had my car already. Talk about service, the company I used not only picked up the car when they said they would, they delivered it exactly when they said they would almost down to the minute.
I just had Intercity from WI to Phila PA.
No issues..
Booked without deposit to get into their que, told me 2-5 weeks, then called me 2 days later said my car would be delivered the next day! Maybe I was fortunate, but I will use them again for sure!
