Do you mean when exiting the car after its off or even just getting into it for the first time?
If leaving the car you may be referring to the lighting coming on that people like to complain about on GM vehicles (reverse lights in particular). This can be adjusted in the settings under Exit Lighting, it will let you turn it completely off or change how long they stay on for.
