Thursday's only. 20 cents per gallon off on premium gas only. this is all circle k stores in north florida for sure, maybe other areas or states too. only corporate stores too, independent stations i don't know. at jacksonville beach fla, the independents run a 90 cent to $1.10 premium bump from regular and the corporate a $0.60 bump from regular. I use the 3rd st / 13N location as they have top tier Exon gas. the circle k brand gas is not top tier.

Here in SE Virginia, we get the $0.20 off on Tuesdays.
Unfortunately, the Premium is priced at $1.00/gal higher than regular.
When the wife and I were in Connecticut at Christmas, the difference between Regular and Premium was only $0.60/gal.
Don't believe anyone who says Virginia is cheaper. They have 2 or 3 sales taxes on everything you buy depending on where you live.
I own 4 cars, including my C7, that require premium gas which is only 91 octane in CA where I live.
Currently pricing in my area is $3.50/gallon for premium. Some places (like Costco) sell it for less but, if I really had to worry about the price of gas, I'd buy a farm and bury a 1000 gallon tank in the ground, buy it in bulk direct from a refiner and set up my own pumping station.
Vette seems to like it. Is currently undercover for winter as is -16ºC here now.
Supposed to be -17*C in North Texas for a low Monday morning. But will be back up to 17*C highs in about 10 days. Not doing any driving around in the Vette this next week.
but all kidding aside, ever notice any side effects in performance with discount brands? Over the years I’ve had mixed results with brands like Costco and Racetrack. but never had an issue with the top name brands.
My mechanic friends would always tell me to stick to the premium brands.
Here's a little "project"..... what was the price of gas in, say, 1972? And, what was the average salary?
what is the price of gas where you are now? And, what is the average salary?
I get premium at a Union 76 down the street from me. It’s convenient. It’s top tier gas. But I pay about .30 per gallon more than the Valero station about a mile away. I only fill up once a month so it’s no big deal.

I do not know about '72, but, in '68 it was $0.35, with an occasional gas war that took it down to $0.28. A skilled factory worker was making around $3.99. If you were a white shirt, businesses did not allow any other color, and were making your age, you were living the dream! In other words, Playboy Magazine expressed if you were 30, you should be making $30,000
There were no credit cards like Visa, etc. , as I recall. B of A card came out later.
And thiis was in So Cal.

I used 1972 - 2019 since good numbers are not yet available for 2020 median household income. $0.36 in 1972 would equal $2.40 in 2019 per their inflation calculation. The government says the average price per gallon in 2019 was $2.60. The ratio of gasoline price increase was 2.6/.36 = 7.222 Median household income $11,116 (1972) vs $68,703 (2019) so the ratio of median household income increase was = 6.18. So the cost of gasoline increased by116% of the increase in median household income over the 1972-2019 time frame. Considering all the new regulations and complications introduced by forcing ethanol, cleaning up refineries and well sites, etc., that's not too bad. BTW, trying to find consistent income data was interesting.
